About Us

Rizzo Enterprises Massage Therapy was founded by Gina M. Rizzo, January 15, 2005. Gina attended The Atlanta School of Massage and graduated in December of 2004, with a concentration in Clinical and Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. In 2008, Gina added her Medical Massage Practitioner Certification.

Gina has obtained 110 hrs of CEU's in massage, since graduating in 2004. Gina has recently completed a Professional Small Business Management class and finished with honors.

Gina is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the GA Chapter of AMTA. Gina is also Licensed in the State of GA  MT000185 and is also Insured. Gina is a registered with the GA. BBB and is an Honorary Member of Cambridge's Whose Who of Empowering Women and Professionals 2005. (Book is located at the office for all to see).  Gina is a member of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to massage school, Gina attended:

• University of West GA. Carrollton, GA.                 (1977-1978)       B.S.Ed
• University of Tennessee, Knoxville,TN.               (1979-1980)       M.S.

Major: Health/PE and Motor Behavior
Minor: Biology/Chemistry Education                             

Gina taught elementary school on a teaching scholarship while in graduate school. Gina taught elementary and junior high, now middle school, in Health/PE for about 5-7 yrs in several Georgia Counties.

Gina participated in sport activities in HS and College. Won numerous awards and trophies, which are now in trophy cases at the schools.

Gina held several offices of clubs and organizations.(President/Vice-President/Sec-Tres./Team - Captains,etc...)

Gina worked for the City of Atlanta Parks and Recreation Dept. at South Bend Park (Lakewood) and Chastain Park (Atlanta).

Coached/Taught: Tennis/Basketball/Soccer/Softball/Racquetball/Flag Football/Recreational Games/Swimming/Track and Field/Gatorball/Volleyball...

Straight out of massage school, Gina conducted her business out of the Goodheart Chiropractic Clinic, when it was located in the Banks Station Shopping Center.  In August of 2006,  Rizzo Enterprises Massage Therapy relocated to an office off of Bastille Way Fayetteville. March 2008, Rizzo Massage Therapy Clinic, LLC. evolved, (hence Rizzo Massage, LLC). 

Gina has been in business for 6 years.

Gina had her first real massage while vacationing in Punta Cunta, Dominican Republic. Gina suffered from Arthritis (knees) /Achilles Tendonitis (both heels) / SI Joint Issues/ Thoracic Outlet/Carpal Tunnel/Wry Neck/ and Fibromyalgia acquired from working for Federal Express as a Handler/Dot for 9 years.  Physical Therapy/Chiropractic Adjustments/Pain Medications were not enough to control the degree of pain she was experiencing.

Gina, since then, became a firm believer, in the healing power of massage.

When she got back to the states she went looking for a massage school and the rest is history.

Gina is also currently working as an Independent Contractor, at Zen Massage Therapy Center, at the southside of Fayetteville, in the Summit Point Shopping Center. Your invited to see her there on the weekends ..!
